Meet January’s Recruits

16th February 2018
Stephen Hannah Small

January brought two new additions to the office at Niche IFA. Already in to the second month of 2018, the pair have quickly settled in at Waterside Court and have proved strong additions to the paraplanning team.

Hana joins as part as our ongoing Next Generation Training Scheme. This scheme aims to continue to develop the best skills in financial planning for a client base that will hopefully be with Niche for many years to come.

Our second new starter, Stephen, joins the company as a paraplanner with several years’ experience as a Pensions Administrator under his belt.

Niche Compliance Director Tom Roberts is delighted with how quickly they have started to pick things up, “Both Stephen and Hana have already demonstrated, even though you may not have first-hand experience of paraplanning, that so long as you apply yourself and are eager to learn, there’s no boundaries to what you can go on to do.”

“It was important for us to recruit under our Next Generation Training Scheme again, given our record of developing from within and giving youth a chance,” Tom continues.

“It’s so important to be ready to provide financial advice for the upcoming generation in society- giving them people they can relate to.”

Get to know Hana and Stephen

Stephen: Stephen joins Niche having graduated in 2009 from Cardiff University with a degree in Mathematics. With his subject matter further enhanced by his role in pension administration, it’s anticipated that he’s tailor-made for a career in financial planning. He enjoys pursuing mathematics too as a hobby, along with chess, running and reading.

Hana: Hana arrives from the University of South Wales under the Next Generation Training Scheme. She’s currently reading a BSc (Hons) in Financial Planning, Investment & Risk. As part of the degree, Hana is required to complete a 3-month industry placement and as a result has chosen Niche.

Having been taken under the wing of fellow paraplanner Trudy Jenkins, there is nothing to stop Hana enjoying a long and prosperous career as a financial adviser. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling and sport.

Everyone at Niche IFA wish Hana and Stephen the very best success and are delighted to have them on board. Join us in wishing them well on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
