Everyone at Niche is delighted to hear of paraplanner Trudy Jenkins’ shortlisting for the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2018.
Receiving multiple nominations for the Professional Adviser’s inaugural event in October, Trudy has been successful in reaching the final stages of the ‘Woman of the Year – in-house Adviser Support’ category.
Not only does this award reflect Trudy’s commitment to going above and beyond for the advisers at Niche, it is also further testament to her dedication to client outcomes.
Trudy’s influence has continued to grow too, not only at Waterside Court, but beyond, as she spent time earlier this year writing for industry press on the challenges faced by women in the financial sector.
Trudy was delighted with the news, admitting, “There’s still more that can be done to achieve true equality throughout the workplace and the industry as a whole.”
“Financial advice must adapt for the next generation of clients, and I’m delighted to say that here at Niche, we approach that challenge head-on.”
The award recognises Trudy’s enthusiastic approach to her work and all-round skill when dealing with the diverse roles demanded of a paraplanner at Niche.
Niche are determined to provide opportunities for all, and indeed take great pride in its open and forward-thinking working environment. Trudy’s shortlisting comes after the company’s recent Exemplar Employer Award from Chwarae Teg, which recognises a commitment to creating a workplace that embraces diverse and inclusive practices.
The applications of the shortlisted nominees for the Women in Financial Awards will be assessed by an independent judging panel and the winners revealed at the ceremony in London on 10th October 2018.
Everyone here at Niche is keeping their fingers crossed for Trudy and wishes her the very best of luck in the awards.
