Niche have been shortlisted for the Professional Adviser 2018 Women in Financial Advice Awards for Contribution to Gender Diversity.

Professional Adviser presents the Contribution to Gender Diversity award to companies who have implemented projects, initiatives or wider changes in gender diversity within their business or the industry more broadly.

This shortlisting comes just three months after Niche were awarded the Exemplar Employer Award from Chwarae Teg, recognising Niche’s commitment to fostering an open and diverse workplace regardless of gender, ethnicity or any other background.

Alongside the award and shortlist, Niche’s Next Generation Training Scheme continues to link with local universities and organisations to offer internships to gain that all important work experience. This has helped us to develop a closely-knit and vibrant team who are ready to provide financial advice for years to come.

The Professional Adviser award recognises Niche’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. Niche Director and Chartered Financial Planner Ray Adams says, “The Contribution to Gender Diversity award represents our commitment to ensuring that we adapt a workplace which is inclusive of all employees.”

“Any financial advice that is given should be about meeting the needs of clients. There is nothing more important to us than having the right people in the office who are able to relate to our clients and who can also service the needs of a new generation of clients in the coming years,” Ray concludes.

The winners of all 23 categories will be announced on Wednesday 10th October 2018 in London at the inaugural Women in Financial Advice Awards.
