Director of Niche and in-house Chartered Financial Planner, Ray Adams, has been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year as part of South Wales Argus Business Awards 2018.
South Wales Argus presents the Entrepreneur of the Year to business people who are enjoying success in building their own business or to employees who have had an outstanding impact in contributing to the success of a larger organisation.
The judges of the Entrepreneur of the Year category are looking for applicants who demonstrate ambition, energy, skill and vision, as well as the tangible business success.
Ray began his financial career back in 1996 following a career as a police officer and in 2005, founded Niche IFA which led him to develop his skill set and provide the best possible financial advice to clients. 2010 saw him awarded with Chartered Financial Planning status with services that he provides being of a gold standard to the industry.
In 2014 Ray launched CashCalc, an online suite of financial planning tools, which now has over 9000 users across five continents.
Ray says, “I’m humbled to have been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year. But it’s the determination and commitment of all of our staff that has seen all of our businesses go from strength to strength.”
The winners will be announced at the South Wales Argus Business Awards ceremony, which will take place on the 27th September 2018 in the Newport Centre.
