Our Fees

PRICE DETAILS

We may be able to discuss set fees depending on the type of service required, your specific circumstances, and the complexity of the work involved. Find information on what we charge for our services including pension transfers, cashflow planning and ongoing services.

Initial meeting

An initial meeting (of up to an hour) is offered at our cost with no obligation on you to use us, or go ahead with anything.

Advice Fees

Our standard fees are set out below - a set fee may be agreed, depending on your specific circumstances, and the complexity of the work involved.

We will always tell you exactly how much you will pay before you agree to proceed with our services. The agreed fee may be paid by invoice or provided by an adviser charge from your investment or pension and paid by the product provider, if a product is implemented for you.

Cashflow planning

We offer a lifetime income and expenditure cashflow service for both pre and post-retirement scenarios.

Set Pension Analysis fees

We offer set fees to analyse different types of pension, produce a report and make a recommendation on the options available to you.

Initial analysis of Defined Benefit pension (Final Salary, Safe Guarded Benefits or similarly complex pension e.g. Section 32)

  • Initial meeting and completion of a full factfind, looking at current assets and liabilities, and incomes and expenditures, as well as expected changes in the future and in retirement
  • Discuss what your aims and plans are for the future
  • Discuss your Attitude to Risk and your Capacity for Loss
  • Transfer Value Analysis of the defined benefit pension and the CASH EQUIVALENT TRANSFER VALUE to establish the 'critical yield' (the break-even growth rate to match the benefits you are giving up)
  • Cashflow scenario report of your current situation – keeping the defined benefit pension in place and whether you have enough money to survive NOW, and in retirement
  • Model scenario 2, moving your defined benefit pension to a new personal pension and taking flexible access drawdown and whether you have enough money to survive NOW and in retirement
  • Model scenario 3 which is moving your defined benefit pension as per model 2 but we will also STRESS TEST it by looking at investment volatility and whether you’d have a problem in the event of a market downturn
  • We will write you a suitability report making a recommendation to either KEEP the defined benefit pension or MOVE it to a personal pension
  • We will sign any paperwork (as pension transfer specialists) required by the pension trustees to confirm we have provided you with appropriate financial advice
  • This analysis fee does not involve the implementation of any advice nor the recommendation of a suitable pension product provider
£2,500

Initial analysis of Defined Contribution pension (Personal Pension Plan, Stakeholder Pension)

  • Initial meeting and completion of a full factfind, looking at current assets and liabilities, and incomes and expenditures, as well as expected changes in the future and in retirement
  • Discuss what your aims and plans are for the future
  • Discuss your Attitude to Risk and your Capacity for Loss
  • Pension Switch Analysis of the defined contribution pension and the TRANSFER VALUE to compare the current charges to alternative providers, as well as analysing the options available to access income
  • Cashflow scenario report of your current situation – keeping the defined contribution pension in place and whether you have enough money to survive NOW, and in retirement (by way of the income option offered to you by the pension)
  • Model scenario 2 (potentially multiple scenarios), scenarios presenting the various income options available (flexible access drawdown, annuity, etc.) and whether you have enough money to survive NOW and in retirement AND STRESS TESTING those options by looking at investment volatility and whether you’d have a problem in the event of a market downturn
  • We will write you a suitability report making a recommendation to either KEEP the defined contribution pension or MOVE it to a more suitable personal pension
  • This analysis fee does not involve the implementation of any advice nor the recommendation of a suitable pension product provider
