We are a firm of Chartered Financial Planners with a team of highly qualified and knowledgeable advice givers, alongside an experienced and motivated team of support staff. This has resulted in Niche providing one of the most efficient and consistent services to all of our clients.
With this in mind, we have the capacity to increase our business and look after a considerably larger “bank” of clients without reducing the quality of our service.
As part of our ongoing service, we usually provide the following to our clients:
- Quarterly Communication
- 6 monthly portfolio report and fund review (if applicable)
- Annual Review meeting, including a Cash Flow Forecast update to ensure that you are still on track to meet your lifetime goals.
- Up to 5 hours ad hoc telephone consultation per annum with no further fee
- We provide advice on all aspects of finance and possess specialists in each field
As many of our colleagues in the industry are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with the regulatory and qualification requirements set by the FCA, we feel that we are perfectly positioned to help these advisers transition away from the industry without financial detriment, whilst continuing to provide an excellent service to their loyal clients.
We feel that making a lump sum payment for a client bank is not the most efficient or cost effective way of integrating your clients and that a phased handover over a 3 or 5 year period is far superior and more beneficial for all parties involved including the clients in question.
Therefore, Niche are willing to offer retiring/departing IFAs up to 90% of ongoing trail income for up to 5 years whilst you transition away from the industry – safe in the knowledge that your clients will be in good hands.
In addition there is further potential for introductory rewards based on successful introductions to your clients. Fees received as a result of your introduction could be negotiated to result in a financial incentive for you.
We will gradually integrate your clients to our services preferably with a handover during the transition period that will make your clients comfortable that the new adviser has been carefully selected by you in order to look after their interests.

Services to other professionals
As Chartered Financial Planners, we understand what it means to provide a professional service to our clients. From time to time we come across a client who requires more than financial advice and we have developed working relationships with other professionals who might be able to better assist our clients.
Likewise, many of these professionals find it beneficial to refer their clients to us for financial advice. We can provide expert witness services to other professionals in circumstances where an independent third party is required. We have previously produced expert reports for advice complaints and for cases in divorce. We are affiliate members of Resolution and provide specialist advice in relation to divorce Therefore, we are always happy to talk to like-minded individuals, to provide the best advice for the client.

You may wonder why other financial advisers would ask us for advice. The majority of the time it is because Ray is a pension specialist and amongst the qualifications he holds is the G60 pensions qualification. This allows him to arrange pension transfers for an occupational pension scheme.
Many advisers do not have the technical knowledge, or time to expand their knowledge, to provide this kind of advice which is why they come to us.
